2: Why Dwelling Place?

I think many of us fall into the habit of treating our time with God as a quick visit instead of a place we reside. We check in, read a verse, pray quickly, and move on. But Jesus didn’t call us to just ‘visit’—He called us to abide. In this episode, I discuss the idea of the dwelling place and what it means. Listen below.

Reflection

Where am I treating God like a hotel instead of my home?

Is it in my prayer life?
In how I approach Scripture?
In my daily rhythms?

This Week’s Practice

  • Take a moment today to reflect: Where do I need to slow down and dwell with God?

  • Set a small, tangible practice—maybe it’s reading Scripture without rushing or taking 5 minutes of silence to simply be with God.
